6th Annual Charity Scotch Tasting Reception
A knowledgeable BC scotch expert will encourage guests to nose, taste and learn about some of the world's finest whiskeys and enjoy delicious and abundant hors d'oeuvres.
This is an opportunity to meet new people and prominent guests from the Greater Vancouver community. You will meet Jesuits who have a long and courageous history of uniquely engaging society, devoting their lives to promoting social justice, inspiring the youth through education, and assisting people in their private and public lives to cultivate deeper and more reasoned faiths.
About this Event
Please join us for an event full of humour, community and information on a drink that started in 1494 all in the midst of helping good faith based causes.
Location and Event time: The event will be hosted at the John Paul II Pastoral Center, 4885 Saint John Paul II Way. Doors will open at 4:45 It will begin at 5:15 and end at 7:00pm.
Tickets: Tickets are $80 each.
Note: For those who do not drink scotch, wine and sparkling water options are also available at the event. A reduced non-scotch ticket is available for $50 and includes an excellent spread of hot and cold appetizers, as well as cold drinks.
This event will sell out quickly.
Donations & Sponsors: Sponsors help support the continuing work with students by bursaries at St. Mark's College, the Jesuit Chaplaincy at UBC, and the teaching program at the Department of Ethics, Mission and Spirituality at the St. Paul's Hospital and Providence Health which serves all of British Columbia.
